What's Happening in the North and North West?

Being active is important at every stage of life and age is certainly no barrier to staying active.

An active community enjoys many physical, economic and social benefits. Among these benefits are an improved quality of life, reduced risk of health problems and more community involvement.

The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, through Sport and Recreation Tasmania, aims to create opportunities for all Tasmanians to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.
