How do I apply for Tasmanian State Sponsorship?

Launceston General HospitalPlease check your eligibility before applying for state sponsorship.

Complete an application form available on this website.

You will need to provide:

  • application form including Statutory Declaration
  • a copy of your skills assessment
  • IELTS test results (where applicable)
  • your current CV (maximum 4 pages).

If you are a new graduate, you must also provide for us:

  • a copy of your university transcript.

Please send all applications to skilledmigration@development.tas.gov.au.

Please do not send documents other than the above.  If the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts would like to request further information, applicants will be contacted by email.
There is no fee for Tasmanian state sponsorship assessment.
The average processing time is four weeks. However some cases may take longer than the standard time.
