Antarctic Tasmania

Through Antarctic Tasmania, the department promotes the state as a centre for Antarctic, Sub-Antarctic and temperate marine activity and encourages national and international communities to recognise and use Tasmania as a gateway to the Antarctic and Southern Ocean.  Click here for more information.

Screen Tasmania

Through Screen Tasmania the department provides a wide range of assistance to the state’s developing screen industry. Screen Tasmania also works to promote the state nationally as a film and production location, and supports film festivals across the state.   Click here for more information.

Sport and Recreation Tasmania

Sport and Recreation Tasmania provides strategic advice and financial assistance to sport and recreation organisations in the state. This includes the administration of a number of grant programs that support facility developments, equipment purchases and a range of development initiatives.
