Invest Australia will provide your business with a variety of solutions tailored to meet your business needs. It can provide information on Australia’s industry capabilities, guide you through the regulatory and approval processes and connect you with the right industry and government contacts. Invest Australia also administers the following programs:
Major Project Facilitation
This Invest Australia service provides prospective investors with a single contact point within the Australian Government. It gives information, advice and support in gaining necessary government approvals. It also identifies the sequence and timings for key approvals and government programs that may assist the project.
Supported Skills Program
The Invest Australia Supported Skills program is designed to encourage international firms to invest directly in Australia. It allows companies that make a significant investment to bring out key expatriate managerial and specialist employees from within the company group who are essential to establish operations in Australia.
Strategic Investment Coordination
Strategic Investment Coordination is a channel for high-level requests for government assistance for strategic investment projects of both international and domestic businesses.

AusIndustry is the Australian Government’s agency for delivering products, services information and incentives that support industry, research and innovation. AusIndustry delivers a range of more than 30 business products, including innovation grants, tax and duty concessions, small business services, and support for industry competitiveness worth nearly A$2 billion each year to about 10,000 small and large businesses.

Up to A$18 million is available to assist Tasmanian ICT companies develop or market an ICT product or service for global markets. Eligible Tasmanian ICT companies will be able to compete for grants from between A$200,000 and A$2 million. A portion of the funding is also available for projects that will benefit the Tasmanian ICT industry as a whole. This initiative offers opportunities for companies to partner Tasmanian ICT firms in a range of areas.
