A note from Neville
Welcome to the first edition of II News. The Intelligent Island Board, which I chair, has just completed its first full year of operation. It has been a busy year with the finalisation of a Strategic Plan and an Implementation Plan, as well as major advancement of the implementation process. The most significant allocation of funds to date has been in relation to the Intelligent Island Incubator. This initiative will account for 20 per cent of the Program’s $40 million funds and provide much-needed assistance to help innovative Tasmanians develop successful information and communications technology (ICT) businesses. |
