The ©-STAR Awards recognises the achievements of the state's science and technology entrepreneurs and highlights the importance of the commercialisation of local innovations. Specifically, it recognises a business or individual for their preliminary success in commercialising a science and technology product, process or service. The awards provide the industry with an excellent opportunity to promote its products, build relationships and raise profiles.
The winner of the ©-STAR Awards receives a $5 000 cash prize and a trophy and the five finalists will each receive a certificate.
The next ©-STAR Awards will be held in August 2010.
