Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACE CRC)

The Institute was established to focus agricultural research in the state, and to ensure that research programs meet the needs and priorities of Tasmania’s agricultural industries. TIAR has scientists, postgraduate students and technical and support staff working across its research programs: vegetables, dairy, extensive agriculture, perennial horticulture, food safety, and a number of agriculturally related areas in the School of Agricultural Science, such as forestry, rural sociology, environmental microbiology and soil science.
