Tasmanian Manufacturing Conference 2009

1 - 2 October 2009
Wrest Point, Hobart

Roadmap for change

Hear from the experts on global competiveness, climate change and demographic change.

The 2009 conference builds on the success of previous conferences and focuses on the unprecedented challenges of global competitiveness, climate change and demographic change facing Tasmanian manufacturers.

It's an opportunity for innovative Tasmanian manufacturers to share their experiences and hear from nationally recognised experts on these topics.  The conference also provides a unique opportunity for service providers, trainers, consultants and government agencies to interact with people from industry to better understand their needs.

The conference will be held at Wrest Point in Hobart, one of Tasmania’s premier conference locations.

The principal sponsor of the 2009 conference is Enterprise Connect, an Australian Government initiative.  Enterprise Connect has established a manufacturing centre in Burnie with business advisors in each region of Tasmania to connect Tasmanian manufacturers to national and international advice on design, technology and best-practice management.
