The Food Industry Council of Tasmania

The vision for the Tasmanian food and beverage industry is to be the ‘pure food bowl of Australasia’.

The Food Industry Council of Tasmania was established in June 1999 and acts as a key industry advisory body to the Tasmanian Government.

The Tasmanian Food and Beverage Industry Strategy 2008-11 was developed by the Food Industry Council of Tasmania in partnership with industry and in conjunction with the Departments of Economic Development and Tourism, and Primary Industries and Water and presents a refreshed vision for the Tasmanian food and beverage industry.
