We provide assistance to Tasmanian businesses seeking to develop or expand sales of products or services into national and international markets. We match national and international buyers who are interested in Tasmanian products or services who wish to meet and establish relationships with Tasmanian businesses.

What activities and programs do we provide?

• Customised market research for specific businesses.  Research including advice on identifying and screening potential agents or distributors and development of appropriate market entry strategies is undertaken.

• An inward buyer program involving visits from delegations of national and international buyers is facilitated.  This program includes coordination of visit schedules and business matching opportunities.

• Promotion of Tasmanian business groups at national and international trade exhibitions, missions and promotions across all industry sectors.

• Exporter Education involving trade-related workshops and seminars focus on a range of areas appropriate for export activity.

• A series of Tasmanian promotional materials, including flyers and a DVD have been developed.  The promotional material highlights Tasmania’s capabilities across all sectors and is available to companies for marketing purposes.

• The Tasmanian Export Awards recognise excellence in exporting by Tasmanian enterprises.
