The Employer of Choice Conference was attended by over 170 representatives from Tasmanian businesses. The conference has helped to raise awareness of the issues and actions required for businesses to attract and retain skilled workers in an increasingly competitive labour market.

Local Tasmanian businesses shared their successful attraction and retention strategies and four renowned keynote speakers discussed contemporary demographic and workforce trends and their implications for Tasmanian businesses.

Conference papers and presentations will be available on this site by mid August 2008.

Entries for the Employer of Choice Awards 2008 are now being sought from organisations based in Tasmania employing five or more staff.
