Ecka Granules is an international leader in alloy/alloying, metal-powders and application technology. Ecka Granules manufactures non-ferrous metal powders from the pure metals of aluminium, magnesium, calcium, copper, tin, lead, zinc, silicon and their alloys. The products are supplied as powders, granulates, finished mixes, pigs and pellets. Each business year it produces, handles and processes approximately 70 000t of aluminium, 19 000t of magnesium, 25 000t of copper, and a significant tonnage of other non-ferrous metals. Its head office is in Germany and it has a global network with over 18 production plants and 35 sales offices. In 1998 Ecka Granules acquired the Australian production of COMALCO, a producer of atomized aluminium powder, pellets and paste which led to its presence in Georgetown Tasmania. |

Fonterra is a leading multinational dairy company and the world's largest exporter of dairy products, owned by 13 000 New Zealand dairy farmers. Incat is the builder of high-speed wave piercing catamarans that are used in commercial and military service around the globe. Incat’s ships are used to carry passengers, vehicles and freight and provide high-speed marine transportation solutions for a wide range of applications. Incat’s shipyard is on the Prince of Wales Bay at Derwent Park near Hobart. The facility incorporates more than 70 000 m2 of undercover production halls, with two dry-dock areas capable of accommodating up to six vessels under construction. Kreglinger, founded in 1797 by brothers George and Christian Kreglinger, is a family company from Antwerp. The family's group of companies extended to Australia, establishing Kreglinger Australia in 1893. In 2000, Kreglinger (Australia) diversified into wine production with the establishment of Norfolk Rise Vineyard and Winery in the Limestone Coast South Australia. The following year they took majority ownership of the Pipers Brook winery in Tasmania.
