Our Business Boost Program provides business information and advice in an energetic group environment.  It helps businesses to develop and expand opportunities by increasing management skills, providing information and encouraging networking. 

What is it?

Business Boost provides a series of practical workshops for small groups with a particular business development focus.  The workshops can be tailored for a specific sector, demographic or region.

The focus may be business planning, marketing, financial management, operational improvement or specific industry issues.

Depending on the nature of the workshops, there may be the chance for participants to have some one-on-one assistance after the workshops are completed.

An important part of the program is the chance to develop networks with other participants.

What’s the benefit for me?

The opportunity to:

• develop business management skills in a supportive workshop environment led by a specialised business consultant
• learn from the experiences, business challenges, and insights of other participants

Who is eligible for assistance?

Tasmanian small businesses that:

• have the potential to grow
• have an indicative turnover of more than of $100,000 per annum
• have the potential to export, or are currently exporting, out of Tasmania
• have identified a net economic benefit to Tasmania resulting from the business’s growth (eg. increased sales, investment and/or jobs)
• have a commitment to the program objectives.
