Have you considered developing the qualifications or competencies of your existing employees as an alternative to recruiting new ones? Offering development opportunities will make employees feel valued and secure. It will also reflect positively on your business, which will be regarded as a place where people can progress beyond their starting positions. This will increase some employee’s motivation and encourage them to stay with your business for longer.

Training in Australia is provided by a number of bodies including Government (Australian and State) , academic and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
The Australian Training System is a national system that aims to ensure that there is consistency in training outcomes across the states and territories.

RTOs are training/assessment providers recognised by State regulators. They are regulated by a national set of standards against which they are audited regularly.
Anyone can be a training provider but only RTOs can deliver Nationally Recognised Training and issue Statements of Attainment and Qualifications that are recognised within the national system.
